Becky Finlayson, Matthew Handley and Stephen Gray have been selected at a meeting of local Green Party members to stand as the Green Party's parliamentary candidates for the Coventry constituencies in the forthcoming General Election on 12 December 2019.
30 year old Becky Finlayson is standing for the Coventry South constituency, and works in Coventry as a history teacher in a local school. She graduated from Warwick Uni and is passionate about funding for schools.
Senior buyer, Matthew Handley, aged 36, is standing for the Coventry Northeast constituency where he lives. He is also a charity trustee, a volunteer, and a safeguarding coordinator.
Stephen Gray, aged 41, is standing for the Coventry Northwest constituency. He studied Maths at Warwick University and serves in his local church. He has been a local campaigner for Holbrook and a Green Party spokesperson on many local issues.
The Coventry Green Party fielded its first two parliamentary candidates in Coventry in 2010, and we have run for Parliament in all three Coventry constituencies since then.
